Passport Office- the Province needs a passport office and I certainly support the Provincial government in their request to the Federal government to obtain one. Here is a thought; the perfect location would be the Summerside Tax Center – they have security and it may provide some term employees a full time position.
Street repairs- The City of Summerside is investing a great deal into our streets this Spring. I believe patching has already begun and I urge residents to be patient as City crews are diligently out and about getting this work done.
Speeding on Read Drive- This has been an issue of mine since moving to the Eastern end of the City three years ago from St. Eleanors. I have also received many complaints from residents about Read Drive or Read Drive Speedway as I call it. Since this road is a provincial responsibility, word has been sent to the RCMP about resident’s concerns.
